Not at all! For the vast majority of our roles, we provide full training. What we value most is reliability, enthusiasm, and a genuine desire to help your community.

This varies by role. Mentoring usually requires 1-2 hours a week for at least six months. Food bank support can be flexible, from a few hours a month to a few days a week. We'll work with you to find a schedule that fits your life.

No. We reimburse all agreed out-of-pocket expenses, including travel to and from your volunteering location. We also cover the cost of your DBS check if your role requires one.
